Thank You, More Please: Joyful Receiving Without the Worship
How to open your arms to more… without losing your soul in the process.
I’m the money coach inside several coaching containers.
The coaches trust me with the soul and the science of money.
They know I can hold space for the big feels and the bank statements.
For the sacred and the spreadsheets.
I help their clients release the chokehold of old stories like “Money is the root of all evil” and “It’s better to give than to receive.”
And I help them learn to read a Profit & Loss.
We honor both the myth and the math.
Recently, during a call, one of the students raised a question that stopped the room:
“How do I practice your ‘thank you, more please’ philosophy without falling into the trap of worshipping money?”
Phew.
Now that is a beautiful question.
Let’s walk through it together.
For many of us, money has become the proxy for everything we desire.
We say we want freedom.
We say we want happiness.
But what we often mean is: “Once I have enough money, then I’ll feel free. Then I’ll feel happy.”
And let me be clear: There’s no shame in that.
We’ve inherited a world that teaches us money is both the villain and the savior.
That to desire it is greedy, and to lack it is failure.
That to be generous is noble, but to ask for more is selfish.
We’ve all breathed in those mixed messages.
If you’re confused, it’s not your fault.
But are these beliefs serving you?
If happiness is always waiting on the other side of more, will you ever feel satisfied?
If freedom is only possible when the bank balance hits a certain number… how long will you wait to live?
So yes, I say “Thank you, more please.”
And yes, I help my clients set bold, generous, world-changing financial goals.
“Thank you, more please” isn’t just about money.
It’s a full-body yes to life.
Thank you for the money in my account.
Thank you for my health.
Thank you for the iced coffee and the loud laugh and the hot bath and the playlist that makes me dance in my kitchen.
More please.
More joy.
More ease.
More rest.
More impact.
More capacity to give.
More capacity to receive.
When you can feel true joy in your present moment—even for a split second—and then open your arms wider and say “more please”...
The universe delivers.
A split second becomes a moment.
A moment becomes a mood.
A mood becomes your life.
Money loves joy.
So when I work with business owners, of course we build toward profit.
But not for the sake of profit alone.
We build for the overflow.
For the giving that doesn’t deplete.
For the receiving that doesn’t shame.
For the impact that starts with delight.
We build for a life that is audaciously alive.
And here’s the real secret:
The more money you make, the more good you can do.
That’s why we set massive goals.
Not because we’re greedy…
Because we are called.
👉 Reflection Prompt:
Where in your life are you waiting for “more” before allowing yourself to feel joy?
What would change if you made delight your daily devotional—before the money arrives?
Write a “thank you, more please” list tonight. Let it surprise you.
🔥 Daily Affirmation:
I say thank you with my whole heart.
I welcome more without guilt, apology, or delay.
Every moment of joy expands my receiving bowl.
I trust the flow of life and money to meet me in delight.
I am a safe, sacred vessel for overflow.
PS: Profit is Protest. Overflow is our activism.
The more we receive, the more we can reinvest—into joy, justice, and the world we are here to build.
