For decades, I lived inside my business.
Client work consumed every hour, every ounce of energy. My systems, my strategy, my growth? Left to “someday,” that elusive mirage that never arrived.
Then 2020 hit. The world stopped. My calendar cleared. And suddenly I had all the time in the world — time I hadn’t let myself claim in years — to actually work on my business.
When my work picked back up, I swore I would never return to the old way. I committed to dedicating the first hour of every day to nurturing my own systems, growth, and vision. That single choice changed everything.
Eventually, I went bigger. Now I block out an entire CEO Week every month.
An hour a day builds steady, unstoppable momentum. A week a month? That’s where massive action happens.
A CEO Week is where I:
Train and pour into my team
Draft chapters of my book
Catch up on courses or certifications I’ve been meaning to explore
Restructure internal systems so we scale with ease
Gift myself massages, long walks, and strategic thinking time
Tackle the projects that will shape the next season of my business
✨ It’s a sacred, strategic space. A pause from the client whirlwind to remember that I am the architect — not just the laborer — of my company.
And now, beloved rebel CEO, I would like to offer you the same framework.
Your CEO Day / Week Agenda
Here’s a starting place for your own version. Modify it. Play with it. Make it yours.
Morning
Vision Review: Revisit your goals, intentions, and metrics. Anchor into what you’re building.
Financial Clarity: Review profit, expenses, forecasts, and cash flow. (Numbers are strategy’s best friend.)
Priority Mapping: Choose the 1–3 internal projects that deserve your focus this round.
Midday
Deep Work Block: Write, systematize, create, or strategize.
Team & Training: Hold office hours, record SOPs, or pour into staff.
Learning & Growth: Carve out space for a course, workshop, or mastermind replay.
Afternoon
CEO Self-Care: Schedule the massage, take the walk, nap if needed. A nourished CEO creates expansion.
Connection Time: Send gratitude notes, check in with mentors, nurture partnerships.
Celebration: Document wins, no matter how small. Momentum loves acknowledgment.
Do this one day a month and you’ll feel the difference. Do it for a full week once a month, and your business will start leaping forward in ways you can’t ignore.
👉 Reflection Prompt:
How might your business (and your nervous system) shift if you claimed even one CEO Day a month? What projects or dreams are waiting for you to clear space?
🔥 Daily Affirmation:
I am the architect of my business.
I honor my vision with time, space, and strategy.
Every hour I invest in myself multiplies into overflow.
My leadership is expansive, grounded, and sovereign.
PS: Profit is Protest. Every CEO Day is a declaration that your vision matters and your work is worthy of being resourced.
