There is Liberty in Our Language
A single word can be the difference between a wish and a world.
We are spellcasters by design.
Every word we speak is a declaration.
Every sentence a summoning.
This is the sacred architecture of reality-building.
And yet—
I’ve caught myself playing small with my language.
Saying things like “I’ll try” or “someday,” whispering “should” or “might” as if I’m afraid of what would happen if I simply decided.
As if the wild unknown wasn’t made for me.
The truth? I’m not built for shallow waters.
I was born to leap—to cannonball into the deep end, to build wings of riotous color on the way down, to write my future in present-tense poetry and bold declarations.
Because here’s what I know:
Our subconscious hears everything—and believes all of it.
Every time we say “I can’t,”
we etch that belief into our bones.
But when we speak the truth in advance—
when we declare, “I am ready,”
“It is mine,”
“This or better, thank you more please…”
we begin becoming the version of ourselves who can have it, hold it, and expand it.
This is more than mindset.
This is liberation.
This is choosing to architect your future with intention instead of hesitation.
This is you, reclaiming your voice as your first act of rebellion.
You want proof?
Working with my coach earlier this year, I shared that I wanted to be on more podcasts this year—not just for reach or strategy, but because I wanted to feel desired, sought after, magnetic.
So I tuned into those feelings in a short self-guided meditation.
Let myself feel it.
No begging.
No forcing.
Just being.
Just naming.
The very next morning, I woke up to an email:
“I heard you on another podcast. My people need your message.
Would you be open to guesting on mine?”
Magic? Maybe.
Energetics? Absolutely.
Language? Definitely.
Be mindful of your words today.
Not because you need to be perfect—but because your language is a looking glass.
It shows you who you believe you are.
And if you’re ready to believe in someone more powerful, more luminous, more you—
start by speaking as that version of you.
They are already listening.
👉 Reflection Prompt:
Where are your words still whispering limits?
What happens in your body when you replace “I hope” with “I am”?
Speak one new declaration aloud today—and notice how the air itself rearranges to meet you.
🔥 Daily Affirmation:
My language is a living spell.
Each word I speak builds my next becoming.
I call in clarity, expansion, and delight.
Every syllable is freedom made sound.
P.S. Profit is protest, and language is its frontline. Every empowered word disrupts the systems that profit from your silence. Speak with precision. Bless what’s next with your voice.
That’s how we build a world where truth reverberates louder than fear.

Oh Yes! Early this year I created a goal: Be More Visible. Within a week, I had a request to be on a podcast, and to speak at a conference. I said yes. 1 podcast, led to a second one. Then an offer to teach a 6 week class in person. A lovely cascade to propel me forward in my goal to be more "visible". Yes, yes, yes. Speak it into reality.
Shaneh ... so true language ... words ... so much more important than we realize or think or can sometimes comprehend. Would you let me share this as a guest post on my Author Adventure substack? Thanks for you empowering words ... Creatively, Liz
