Under Construction
We’re not waiting for the system to change. Not anymore.
If today feels harder than usual, If being purposeful or optimistic feels like a betrayal of reality, you’re not overreacting, and you’re not alone.
This week, in an act of willful cruelty, the man who would crown himself king chose not to fund SNAP—cutting off food access for the most vulnerable.
Today, people woke up hungry.
And not just metaphorically.
Food insecurity is not an abstract fear.
It is a terror that sits behind the ribs.
It is standing under fluorescent lights in a gas station aisle,
calculating hunger; a math no one should ever have to learn.
I remember it. Ten years old.
A snack-sized tin of fruit cocktail in my hand.
Two more days until I would get paid for babysitting a neighbor’s kid.
My stomach was empty. My body shaky, lightheaded, and dizzy.
My mind doing adult math in a child’s frame.
I stole the can.
And I cried the entire walk home—
grateful
ashamed
relieved
afraid.
That memory lives in me like marrow.
It shapes the way I move. The way I build.
The way I insist on a world where overflow is routine
and dignity isn’t earned through suffering.
Somewhere, right now, a child is standing in that same aisle.
Doing that same math.
Holding their breath.
Praying they don’t get caught.
This is why I teach clean money.
Why I center joy as a strategy.
Why I build ecosystems that hold more than profit—they hold people.
A wealth model that isn’t waiting for permission to exist, it’s already being built alongside the old systems.
And it’s already working.
Every time a coffee shop offers a meal, no questions asked…
Every time a client reinvests their overflow into community care, team raises, or soul-rich work… We are witnessing the blueprint in action.
Clean money. Shared power. Strategic joy.
Emerging.
Replacing.
Rooted in values.
Funded by joy.
Designed from the inside out.
One aligned choice at a time.
One audacious ask at a time.
Most of the people reading this are self-employed.
Business owners. Entrepreneurs.
Rebels. Builders. Healers. Visionaries.
People who carry an unreasonable amount of hope and responsibility in their hearts who deserve to be unreasonable resourced so they can have an unreasonable amount of impact.
Maybe today your brain can’t focus.
Maybe promoting your business feels hollow in the face of all this.
Maybe you’re wondering if your work even makes a difference or has a part to play.
I promise you—it does.
But I won’t ask you to bypass the ache.
✨ Feel your feelings.
✨ Rage at the systems.
✨ Grieve what’s broken.
✨ Let it move through you.
…and when you can—
Return to your breath.
Feel your feet on the ground.
Reclaim your rhythm.
Feel your fire return.
And then…
🕊️ Be compassionate & committed.
Forgive yourself for any thoughts that feel ugly or unworthy. You’re human.
And if you have a little extra…
Buy your neighbor’s groceries. Make a delivery to your local food bank.
Please continue to call your state representatives and urge them to restore and protect these essential lifelines. Compassion without action is just sentiment. But compassion paired with movement? That’s how we shift tides.
🔍 Be curious.
What brings a little more calm to your body, your business, your community?
🦉 Be wise.
How do you want to shape the days between now and the next election—between now and the next injustice?
🌈 Be joyful.
Joy is a radical act. Build yourself an unshakable fortress of gratitude.
Even if today, all you can muster is: “I’m grateful my husband didn’t burn down the barn.”
📱 Be the one who connects.
Reach out.
No headlines. No preamble. Just this:
“hey you, I was thinking of you and I just wanted to tell you how much I love you. I deeply appreciate our friendship—it’s one for the ages.”
👉 Reflection Prompt:
What are you creating that helps ensure fewer people ever have to experience what you survived? What are you reclaiming?
🔥 Daily Affirmation:
I am connected to my power, even in the chaos.
I am a sacred architect of the future.
I move with clarity.
I ask with audacity.
I earn in alignment.
I circulate wealth like medicine.
PS: Profit is Protest.
It is income with intention. It is wealth rooted in impact.
You are not wrong for building joy in a broken world.
That joy is part of the repair.
It’s how we build the kind of world where no child has to pray they don’t get caught for needing to eat.
PPS: I see you.
I love you.
And our friendship? It’s one for the ages.
