When the Universe Adds a Zero (or four)

The moment you realize your vision is only the entry point—never the edge.

This wasn’t the article I planned to publish this morning.

I went to bed last night with a solid, practical, grounded piece queued up for you.
But then I had one of those dreams,
the kind that slips away the moment you reach for a pen,
yet leaves a single sentence ringing in your bones.

It’s funny, talking about dreams in a business publication.
And yet, every business is a dream made physical.
A desire given form.
A future that insisted on being built.

The dream dissolved, but one moment stayed sharp:

A conversation with one of my guides.

In that dream, I found myself wanting more than I had ever spoken aloud.
And they told me:

“I hold the fullness of your desires inside your soul contracts. Not what you say you want. How would I support you if I held you to your words?”

I woke up instantly.

The room still dark.
My pulse racing with remembering.
The truth of it settling like a key in a long-locked door.

Because I’ve taught my “or better” philosophy for years—framed as an open invitation for the Universe to surprise us with what we cannot yet imagine.

But the deeper truth revealed itself this morning:

“Or better” isn’t for the Universe.
It’s for our subconscious.

It signals to the parts of us that learned to want small
that nothing closes when we ask for something.
Everything expands.

It tells the oldest parts of our psyche:
You don’t need the perfect language to receive what’s already aligned for you.

And even with this new understanding, I’ll keep using and teaching “or better.”
Because our neural pathways need repetition to trust our expansion.
Our systems need gentle invitations to receive beyond what the conscious mind can name.
“Or better” becomes a steady rhythm of allowance—an ongoing rewiring that makes room for the magnitude already aligned with us.

Because the guidance in that dream wasn’t asking me to release what I teach—only to finally understand why it works so powerfully.

And as that pathway widens, the deeper truth steps forward.

Our spoken desires are rarely the full blueprint.
They’re the accessible entry point into something much larger.

And confronting that truth is thrilling in a way that feels almost dangerous.

Because I have big desires.
Ambitious desires.
Audacious, holy, hunger-level desires.

And yet the dream made one thing undeniable:

What I claim is only the faint silhouette of what my soul wants for me.

I see this in my client work all the time.

A client sits across from me and says,
“Shaneh, I want to reach $50K months.”

And without hesitation, my mind adds a zero.

Fifty becomes five hundred.

Not because bigger is better.
Not because scaling is the only path.
But because their energy already speaks at a different wattage.
Their work is built for a wider ripple than their words are currently naming.

If I can hold 10x the vision for a single human…

Imagine the magnitude the Universe holds for you.

10,000x.
Exponentially alive.
Infinite in its willingness to meet your stretch with its own.

This is the part of prosperity strategy we rarely talk about:

When we trust that life rises to meet us,
we stop asking for permission to want what we want.
We follow the nudge.
We take the leap.
We build what once felt impossible to even speak.

And from that place, there is almost nothing we won’t try.

Because we can feel the tailwind behind us.
Because we sense the unseen support holding the blueprint.
Because the door is already open.

All we’re doing now is walking through it.

But you and I—we build in partnership with a universe that out-dreams us on purpose.

Let your desires widen.
Let your vision stretch.
Let your ask become the revolution your ancestors prayed would find its way through you.

Because every time you name a desire, the Universe is already adding its zeros, multiplying the impact, the resources, and the possibilities you’re able to hold.
