I’m not a Swiftie.
(Or am I?)
I can name maybe two of her songs. One of those, only because The Rock performed it on Lip Sync Battle. And yet…
Somewhere between watching her tour become a GDP-level economic force and learning she quietly donates enough to fund a food bank for a full year in every city she performs…
I fell in love.
Not with her music (yet).
With her business.
With her boldness.
With her myth-making.
There’s a quote from TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year profile that lives rent-free in my head:
“While Swift’s success can feel like a counterweight to traditional forms of power, the secret to her mastery has ancient roots. She is writing her own myth, informed by her own journey. And it has been an epic.”
That line hit me like gospel.
Because whether you’re a Swiftie or not, that quote—that framing—is an invitation.
An invocation.
✨ Write your own myth.
✨ Let it be informed by your own journey.
✨ Let it be epic.
What if this is your Epic Era?
What if the path forward isn’t about becoming more professional, polished, productive?
What if it’s about becoming mythic?
That doesn’t mean turning your life into a spectacle.
It means refusing to reduce your brilliance to a line item or a niche. (especially a niche!)
It means treating your creativity as sacred.
Your resilience as revolutionary.
Your kindness as strategy.
Your story as power.
It means making your moves with the knowing that future generations will point to this moment—this one right here—and say:
That’s when everything changed.
That’s when she stopped hiding her fire.
That’s when he started building cathedrals, not just content.
That’s when they decided to stop asking for permission and started writing their own myth.
Entering My Own Epic Era
I’ve built a profitable business.
Helped clients generate millions in sovereign profits.
Bridged the soul and science of money with more elegance than I knew I had in me.
But this era?
This is different.
This is the era where I name myself.
Where I let desire write strategy.
Where I claim space as artist, builder, CFO, and muse.
Where I let the poetry of my path be part of the plan.
And I want the same for you.
I want you to be the main character in your own life, not just in your business.
To stop surviving the brand and start embodying the legacy.
To measure your success not just in revenue but in resonance.
Because you are more than a service provider.
You are more than the labels and lenses others assign you.
You are myth in motion.
And you don’t need to wait until you have a stadium tour or a TIME Magazine cover to act like it.
You can start now.
You can say:
This is my Epic Era.
Not someday.
Not when the kids are older.
Not when the team is built or the systems are perfect.
Now.
👉 Reflection Prompt:
What chapter of your myth are you in right now—and what becomes possible when you claim it as epic?
🔥 Daily Affirmation:
I am writing my own myth.
My story is worthy of awe.
This is the era where I rise with clarity, sovereignty, and joy.
My presence is power. My path is poetry. My profit is protest.
PS: You don’t need to be a Swiftie to build an empire with kindness, audacity, and soul. Whether you’re headlining your own life or still humming backstage, know this: Profit is Protest. The more resourced we become, the more epic our collective story can be. Let’s make it legendary.
